Kirk VothJuly 16, 1941 - June 27, 2025

Kirk Dennis Voth passed from this earth at his Tulsa residence on June 27, 2025 at the age of 83 surrounded by his family. Kirk was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to Clarence and Elizabeth Voth on July 16, 1941. He graduated from Hutchinson High, attended and played college basketball at Hutchinson Juco and Wichita State University. His vocational life was spent working in sales, marketing, customer service, corporate training and ministry. The last years of his life he continued working part time at the pro desk and customer service desk for Home Depot.

Kirk married his high school sweetheart, Nancy (Cochran), in 1960 and from their marriage their son, Jeffrey, and daughter, Jennifer were born. Kirk and Nancy were married 57 years until Nancy passed from this earth in 2017. They spent most of their lives making Colorado their home while enjoying the mountains (fishing), their remarkable Christmas village, their children and grandchildren and friends.

Kirk married Kay (Michaelis) in 2019. They moved to Tulsa Oklahoma and embraced life with family, their church community and friends. They opened their home to many during their years of marriage sharing the grace and freedom found in Christ.

All who knew Kirk, whether for many years or for a short time, knew he loved Jesus and people. He was a man who tirelessly served and encouraged others. His children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren have wonderful memories of him attending their school events, yelling for them and cheering them on. He used almost, if not every opportunity given to him, sharing the good news-Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Kay, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lori Voth and daughter and son-in-law, Jeni and Carlos Reyes. He was “Papa” to his 8 grandchildren and spouses; Jacob (Abby) Voth, Hannah (Mark) Pepin, Caleb Voth, Cody Voth, Sam (Ruth) Sewell, Mason (Carly) Bode, Tyra Bode, Kamron Bode and 7 great grandchildren; Juniper Voth, Daisy, Anderson and Isabelle Pepin, Abbi, Juju and Noli Sewell. He is also survived by his 2 sisters; Jan Dubbs and Vicki (Larry) Albertson and his brother-in-law, Greg (Christy) Cochran, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 11am at Church 3434 in Tulsa Oklahoma. (3434 S. Garnett Rd. Tulsa, OK 74137)
