Kenneth Hofstrom

December 9, 1944 — September 19, 2025

Kenneth Wayne Hofstrom went to be with his Lord on September 19, 2025, in Glenpool, Oklahoma at the age of 80. Kenneth was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 9, 1944, to Ernest Hofstrom and Rita (Jones) Hofstrom. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1962. He started his Air Force career in 1962, completing 24 years of a distinguished military career serving at 14 different bases. After retiring from the Air Force, he went and worked at Lockheed Martin being involved in three major space shuttle projects.

He married the love of his life, Lucy (Brister) Hofstrom on December 26, 1963, having sixty-one plus years together. He is survived by Lucy and their three daughters, Angie & Steve Rogers, Kristin & Walt Gagajewski, and Debbie & Dirk Carlen. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Nicole & Matt Hagney, Clint & Bre Carlen, Dexter & Michael Carlen, Walter Gagajewski, Breanna Gagajewski, Eric Rogers, and Jacob Rogers; preceded by Dannie Rogers and Shawn Rogers. He has seven great-grandchildren: Landon, Charlee, Jordyn, Lynlee, Elliott, Brendal, & Remington. He is survived by his brother Dana & his wife Terri Hofstrom, sister Lisa & Kenny Tucker, and Regina Eiben; preceded by his brothers Ernest L. Hofstrom, Billy Hofstrom, and Dennis Hofstrom, and his parents Ernest & Rita Hofstrom.

Ken was known as a gentleman, loving husband, dad, papa, brother, and a friend loved by all. Ken and Lucy have traveled all over, covering all fifty states and several countries and his services in his church included Knight of Columbus and many other ministries.

A special thank you from the family to Suncrest Hospice and Amada Senior Care while supporting our family through these last seven months.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Alzheimer's Association and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
