Kathryn Yvonne Scott, born in Pueblo, Colorado to Ira and Mabel Patterson, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 91. She lived her entire life in Pueblo, where she filled her days with love, adventure, and deep devotion to her family and community.
Kathryn was the loving mother of Debra Carson (Dennis), Vicki Rumbold (David), Rod Scott (Alla) and Kevin Scott (Christie). She was a cherished grandmother to Hayley Dacus (Chad), Jared Carson, Alex Serepera (Luliia), and Sarah Brown (Tanner), and a joyful great-grandmother to Carson Dacus.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands Harold Scott and Les McLaughlin, her daughter Vicki Rumbold, and son-in-law Dennis Carson.
Kathryn lived life with a spark of adventure-traveling to Mexico and Europe, going on cruises, spending time in the mountains, zip-lining, and even dog sledding. She was deeply involved as Queen of the Daughters of the Nile, and was always someone who wanted to be part of something meaningful. She was present, loving, and generous with her time and heart.
She had a special love for her dogs, especially the German Shorthairs, Duke and Duchess.
Kathryn leaves behind a legacy of joy, strength, and connection. Her spirit will live on in the stories, hearts, and laughter of those who loved her.
She will be dearly missed.
