Karan Ann Gilliam

Karan A. Gilliam (Rice) passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Hill Crest South Hospital. Karan was 79 years of age and was born in Okmulgee Oklahoma on July 16, 1943 to the parents of J.C. and Helen M. Rice.

Karan was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, drinking coffee on her front porch, listening to her audio books and playing games on her phone.

Karan was proceeded in death by her parents, grandson, Jeremy G. Gilliam and her sister Linda C. Atkins. Survivors include two sisters: Donna S. Rice and Debra K. Scott her husband Charles Scott. Two sons and one daughter: David W. Gilliam wife Delena Gilliam, Daryl G. Gilliam, Amber K. Pryor husband Paul Pryor. Five grandchildren: Alisha M. Goolsbee husband Asa Goolsbee II, Justyn C. Gilliam wife Cobie Gilliam, MaKenzee M. Payne, Joshua W. Gilliam, Johnathan D. Wood, James M. Pryor wife Christina Pryor, and Michael D. Pryor. Three great grandchildren: Asa T. Goolsbee III, Maverick J. Pryor and Parker M. Gilliam, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
