Judith Ann Knorpp

November 18, 1941 — March 28, 2026

Judith Ann Woodbridge Knorpp, lovingly known as "Judy," passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 18, 1941, in Denver, Colorado, to Geraldine and Edward Woodbridge. She grew up alongside her three younger sisters, carrying throughout her life both the joy of sisterhood and the lasting memory of one sister lost far too soon at the age of five.

Judy spent her high school years in Oklahoma City, graduating from John Marshall High School, where she was a spirited baton twirler in the band. She went on to attend West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, where she met the love of her life, Kenton. The two were married on December 24, 1963, in a heartfelt ceremony at Kenton's mothers' home in Canyon, beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in love, laughter, and devotion.

Together, they bought their first home on Linda Street in Canyon, where Judy began her career as an elementary school teacher. She had a natural gift for nurturing young minds, a reflection of the kindness and care she carried in every part of her life. In 1966, they welcomed their first child, Bradley, and in 1970, their daughter Kenda was born. Soon after, Judy devoted herself fully to raising her children, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.

During her college years, Judy was a proud member of the Chi Omega Fraternity, where she formed cherished friendships that lasted a lifetime. Her ability to connect with people and make them feel valued was one of her greatest gifts.

In 1972, the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, settling in Longview Lake Estates, where Judy quickly built another circle of lifelong friends. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and the Builders Sunday School class. Later, the family moved to the Jenks School District neighborhood of Woodridge, where Judy truly found her happy place. She had a remarkable ability to make instant friends and turned neighbors into family.

Judy's home was always open. She welcomed everyone with open arms, offering love, compassion, and a sense of belonging-especially to children who needed it most. She was known for her generosity and would quite literally give you the shirt off her back or the earrings she was wearing if you admired them.

She volunteered her time with Children's Day Nursery and worked at Country Casuals dress shop, where her charm and quick wit made her especially skilled at helping friends' husbands find the perfect gifts.

Judy embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She loved people, long conversations on the phone, shopping trips, getting her nails done, playing bridge, selling jewelry, and creating ceramics. She and Kenton shared a love for traveling to art shows, and their family made treasured memories on trips to New Mexico. Above all, Judy cherished her family and her many dear friends.

Her greatest joy was her grandson, Carson Cobb, who lovingly called her "Meme." He was the light of her life.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Kenton Knorpp; her father, Edward Woodbridge; her mother, Geraldine Woodbridge; and her sisters, Terri Moore and Rena Woodbridge.

Judy is survived by her son, Brad Knorpp; her daughter, Kenda Cobb; her grandson, Carson Cobb; her sister, Cindy Wooten; her brother-in-law, Jeff Moore; her sister-in-law, Von Dell Knorpp; and several nieces and nephews who will continue to carry her love forward.

Judy will be remembered for her generous spirit, her vibrant personality, and the countless lives she touched. She made everyone feel special, seen, and loved.

Judy and Kenton shared a special love for country western dancing, spending countless joyful evenings on the dance floor together. It brings comfort to know that they are reunited once again - dancing together in heaven.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Judy's life on April 19, 2026, at the Stonegate Clubhouse, 4706 S. 185th East Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma. This will be a come-and-go gathering from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., where all are welcome to share stories, laughter, and memories of Judy.

Flower arrangements may be sent to 5005 S. 185th East Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74134.
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
