Joseph Santos Guevara

Joseph €œJoe€ Santos Guevara age 32 passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Joe was born May 28, 1974 in Englewood, Colorado to James Carl Guevara and Carolyn Powell Skaggs. He attended Union High School and moved to Glenpool, Oklahoma from Tulsa approximately thirteen years ago.
For the past eleven years Joe installed guttering for Rain Guard Guttering Company located in Jenks, Oklahoma. He started working at a new job on Monday for Rain Tech.
Joe loved to country dance in his spare time. He also loved to go fishing and hunting. His €œhappy go lucky€ disposition was one of his assets and he will be remembered for being such an easy going guy. He never met a stranger; Joe was liked by all his acquaintances, workers and friends.
Joe Guevara was preceded in death by his grandfather: William Carl Guevara; his grandfather and grandmother: Geraldine and Fred Powell.
Joe is survived by his father: James Carl Guevara and his wife, Debbie of Joplin, Missouri; mother: Carolyn Skaggs and her husband, Tommy of Muskogee, Oklahoma; brother: James William Guevara and his wife, Cindy of Coweta, Oklahoma; niece: Carly Guevara of Coweta, Oklahoma; step-brother: Josh Labadie, Joplin, Missouri; grandmother: Willidean Guevara of Glenpool, Oklahoma; uncle: Richard Powell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three aunts: Rosetta Guevara of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Mary Ann Powell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dr. Cynthia Powell of Plano, Texas; extended family: Peggy Gomez of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Bonnie McDonald of Plano, Texas, Denise and Chris Burns and their family of Glenpool, Oklahoma. Joe is also survived by numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Services will be Tuesday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Danny Bankston of Maranatha Assembly of God Church will officiate.
