ordan Tyler Houston was born on November 22, 1988, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jordan was the first born son of Patrick Wayne Houston, Jr. and his mother, Angela Jean Stowell. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Millie and Patrick Houston, Sr., and John and Mary Maehr. He will be missed by both his parents, four brothers and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In his early years he lived with his parents in Arkansas. He spent a tremendous amount of time with his Honey and Paw-paw Houston who loved him dearly. They gave their time and unconditional love to Jordan in ways that required their utmost attention and efforts. Their actions of devout love remained precious in Jordan's heart his entire life. He was devastated by their loss, but carried their laughter and love with him always.
Jordan also experienced the love of his maternal grandparents, Mary Lee and John Edward Maehr. His Nanny and Granks spent much time with him working puzzles, playing games, encouraging his artistic side, and competing for Chinese Checker Championship with Nanny. Nanny also loved going on excursions to the park and eating ice cream at every possible opportunity with Jordan. Together, they loved to shop and eat out.
He admired his younger brother Josh's dedication to our country through his military service.
Jordan will be remembered for his artistic skills and sketches, jewelry making, love of soda pop and a good meal shared with anyone, and skateboarding during his younger years. He endured many health issues with a cheerful spirit without complaining. He was quick to forgive. He knew countless people all over Tulsa because he would approach anyone and strike up a conversation. He was genuinely interested in others.
Jordan received much love and support from his Uncle John and Aunt Debbie, and his Aunt Karen. Jordan knew their love was rare as it encompassed him in ways that very few human hearts can ever imagine.
He cherished friends and family. He will forever be admired and remembered for never giving up and always enjoying a good time with people he loved. He loved life. He was a gentle soul with a sweet spirit that remained intact throughout his life. He gave the best hugs and always laughed.
Jordan's body rested on January 11, 2026. On this day, his spirit was released to forever be held, restored to perfection, and fully supported by our Heavenly Father and Creator.
May his life always be an example to each of us. May we remember how he overcame challenges by perseverance and that true love is all encompassing and never fails.
