Johnny Wayne Marler

John W. Marler, 68, passed away on April 11, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born March 24, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jake B. Marler (deceased) and Donna Leach.

John earned a Purple Heart and the Army Commendation Medal with a “V” Device for his service in Vietnam.

Always ready with a joke, he loved to make people laugh. John loved the Lord and was active in church until health issues prevented him from serving.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Sue Marler, two sons, Christopher Marler and Jeremy Marler, Jeremy’s wife Teresa, two grandchildren, his Mother, five half-sisters, one half-brother, and three step-sisters.
