Johnney Calvin Long

Johnney Calvin Long, 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed peacefully into Heaven on May 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on November 7, 1938, in Durant, Oklahoma, Johnney was the son of JC and Bernice Long. He lived a life grounded in hard work, determination, faith and devotion to his family.

For 64 years, Johnney shared a devoted marriage with his wife, Loretta. Together they built a life centered around family, faith, and enduring commitment through every season of life. Hewas a proud father to Tony (Pam), John Charles, and Sonya Zagorski (Chris), a devoted Pawpaw to Jordan, Lindsey, Brianne, Cassie, Lisa, Jarred, Vincent, Clark and Ian. He was a cherished great-grandfather to great grandchildren, Lily, Lenora, Juliet, Augustus, Carter and Stella Mae.

Johnney enjoyed good conversation, sharing stories, and staying connected to the people that mattered most to him. His family will remember his guidance, sense of humor, generosity, and the steady presence he provided throughout the years. Above all else, he loved his family deeply, and his legacy will live on through them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, JC and Bernice, and his beloved sister, Kay Beasley.

A Graveside Service will be held on May 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life honoring Johnney will be held on June 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Though his family grieves his passing, they find comfort in knowing his faith carried him home. Johnney leaves behind a lifetime of memories, love, and strength that will continue for generations to come.
