John Michael Peters

John Michael Peters, a resident of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the age of 32. He was born on Wednesday, September 21, 1977 to Clarence D. and Sharon (Caudle) Peters in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley Perry and Willie King; great grandparents, Vivian Heady, Artie and Ed Peters and uncle, Eddie L. Peters. Survivors include his mother, Sharon Peters of Okmulgee; father, Clarence “John” Peters of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Jennifer Peters of Tulsa; maternal grandmother, Joann King of Okmulgee; paternal grandparents,Doris and Howard Reib of Collinsville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 with Reverend David Nash officiating. Services are under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
