Jimmy Dean Hale of Jenks, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on June, 10, 2023. Jim Hale was born in Haskell, Oklahoma on November 5, 1932 to Bonnie Argyle (Beldon) Hale and Jackson Sidney Hale. He attended Boynton High School where he played basketball and ran track. Jim married Betty Spurgeon on May 24, 1952 and together they had three children; Kim, Tonya, and Keith. He worked as chemical processor for Dowell and served in the U.S. Army Medic Battalion stationed at Fort Sam Houston and Fort Hood in Texas. However, Jim was a farm boy at heart and it showed in his abundant garden every year. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter and took pride in passing his love of the outdoors onto his family. The family has fond memories of summers spent fishing and camping. Jim looked forward to hunting season every Fall where he went walking the fields in pursuit of quail with his longtime hunting buddies C.H. Whitman

and J.J. Archer. Jim was also a proud member of the National Bench Rest Shooters

Associations and even held two world records in 1966.
