Jerry Lee Rathbun

Jerry Lee Rathbun passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the age of 68.

Born on March 30, 1958, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Jerry was the son of Jerry Rathbun and Nancy (Bishop) Rathbun. He attended Mounds High School before beginning a strong career in the workforce.

Jerry spent more than 20 years as a refractory worker, traveling across the country working in refineries. His dedication, skill, and willingness to go wherever the job took him earned the respect of those who worked alongside him. Before entering the refractory industry, Jerry worked as a butcher from his high school years into his early twenties.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Rathbun.

Jerry leaves behind many loving memories with his mother, Nancy Rathbun; his brother, Steve Rathbun; his stepfather, David Bishop; his uncle, David Branson; his cousin, Leslie Walker and her husband, Jay Walker; his longtime friend, Roy Barrett; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends who will cherish his memory.
