Jeffrey Britton passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the age of 70.
Jeff was born on August 14, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jack and Alice (Walters) Britton.
He married the love of his life, Debra, and together they built a beautiful life and raised two children, Cory and Sasha. Jeff and Debra shared 45 wonderful years of marriage before her passing in 2020.
For over 35 years, Jeff owned Tech Investigations, working as a private investigator and process server-a profession that perfectly suited his curious, fearless, and determined nature. Some of his fondest memories were made on the job, often bringing his grandchildren along and sharing stories with them. Prior to his investigative career, Jeff was a skilled heavy equipment operator and spent many years working in construction.
Jeff was best known for his kind heart and fun-loving personality. He loved playing tricks on people and was rarely without a video camera, capturing countless special moments and memories over the years.
Outside of work, Jeff cherished time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed trips to the casino, frequenting buffets with Ron, making beaded jewelry, finding peace in the detail and creativity it required. He also loved caring for and watching his fish. Jeff had two beloved dogs, Maddie and Laney, who were his constant companions and brought him comfort, especially after the loss of his wife.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra Britton; his parents, Jack and Alice Britton; his sister, Jackie Britton. Mother in Law, Patricia Reeder and Sister in Law, Dianne Atkins.
Jeff leaves behind many cherished memories with his loving family, including his daughter, Sasha Harland and husband John; his son, Cory Britton; his brother, Mike and wife Kermita; Sister in Law Darenda Aud and his adored grandchildren: Justin and Kolbie Britton; Cameron and Hunter Waits, Madison, and Max Harland; Abigail and Casey Amos; Dalton and Isabella Cafalone; as well as his great-grandchildren, Tyler, Lexi, Hadley Britton, and Everleigh Amos as well as nieces and nephews
Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers. Family and friends may share memories and condolences online at www.schaudtfuneralservice.com.
