James Ray Wicker

James Ray Wicker, 71, went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 20, 2004 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Wicker was born on February 18, 1933 to Albert Ray Wicker and Margaret Louiza Taylor Wicker in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Wicker graduated from Coweta High School. He met and married the love of his life, Ruth Dunbar, on February 1, 1954 and spent the rest of his life living in Tulsa.
Mr. Wicker was a truck driver and retired from Stone Trucking Company. He enjoyed dancing.
Mr. Wicker was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Ray and Margaret Louiza; 2 brothers: Kenneth and Bobby and 1 sister: Charlene Sue; his wife: Ruth and a son: Randy Wicker.
James Wicker is survived by his son, Ricky and his wife, Brenda Wicker of Glenpool; daughter, Reva and Jr Morgan of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughter in law, Paula Wicker of Tulsa and son, Robert and his wife, Kelly Wicker of Tulsa. Mr. Wicker is also survived by his brother, Leo Wicker and his wife, Sue, of Glenpool; brother, Raymond Wicker and his wife, sister; Lois Lattie and her husband Raymond, of Glenpool; brother, Woody Wicker and his wife, Pat, of Broken Arrow; sister Mary Robinson, of Colorado Springs, Colorado and his brother Eddie Wicker and his wife, Darlene, of Jenks. Mr. Wicker was the proud grandfather of the following grandchildren: Rowdy, Danny, Ed, Robert, Tara, Kayla, Tiffany and Kim; great grandchildren: Whitney, Danielle, Amber, Chris, Ashtyn, Danny, Brittney Zachary.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 24th at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel and interment will take place 2:00 p.m. at Three Rivers Cemetery, Okay, Oklahoma
