James Charles Park, 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. James was born on October 7, 1957, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to his parents, Jimmie and Mary Fayne (Bradley) Park.
James lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his family, and quiet pride in the simple things. He spent 42 years working as an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines, a career he took great pride in and one that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication.
On March 30th 1979, James married the love of his life, Debi Park. They shared 47 wonderful years of marriage together, building a life centered around love, loyalty, and family.
James was a simple man who never sought attention and preferred life's quiet moments. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He especially loved cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events and rarely missed a game. In his spare time, James enjoyed golfing-even though he would jokingly admit he wasn't very good at it. He also loved grilling, traveling with his family, and took great pride in keeping his yard looking its best.
Above all else, family always came first for James.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Park, and his son, Kevin Park.
James leaves behind many cherished memories with those who loved him most, including his beloved wife, Debi Park; his son, Ryan Park; his grandchildren, Jacob Park, Wyatt Park, and Payton Park; and his brothers, Steve Park and his wife Carol, and David Park and his wife Janet. He will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and dear friends.
