James L. Mcelroy

James L. McElroy, a resident of Morris, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the age of 83. He was born August 5, 1929 to Earl William and Aneta (Booth) McElroy in Graham, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army and he was a member of the Faith Christian Center in Sapulpa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Willam and Aneta McElroy and brother, Harold “Mick” Dean McElroy. Survivors include his wife, Hazel McElroy of the home; four sister-in-laws, DeLois Peters, Doris and Howard Reib, Boba Jean McElroy and Gloria Dee Burnett; nieces, Kathy McElroy and Diane Dipboy, nephews, John Peters, Bruce Wall, Randy Perry and Aaron Lee Peters; cousins, Hazel Pope and other relatives. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with John Peters officiating.
