Jackie Odell Todd, age 86, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025. Born on October 16, 1938, Jackie lived a full and adventurous life defined by hard work, deep passions, and an enduring love for family.
A true jack of all trades, Jackie had a rugged spirit and an unbreakable work ethic. In his younger years, he found joy and purpose in the rodeo arena, and breaking horses became more than a skill-it was a calling. He carried that love for animals into one of his favorite pastimes: coon hunting, a tradition he cherished when he was able.
Jackie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for six years, where he specialized in refueling jets and aircraft. His military career was cut short due to a medical retirement, but he carried the discipline and pride of his service throughout the rest of his life.
Those who knew Jackie remember his strength, his humor, and his big heart. He was a man who never met a stranger and was deeply loved by his family and all who truly knew him. His wisdom and stories will be missed, especially by those who had the privilege of learning from him.
Jackie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathern Colleen Todd, whom he missed dearly every day since her passing. Their bond was an enduring example of love and devotion.
Jackie is preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathern Todd and son Trace Todd.
Jackie is survived by Luanna Peck and Ed Peck of Vinita, Wayne Todd, son, and JoAnne Todd of Wheatland, California, Tom Todd, son, and Sheri Todd of Park Hill, Oklahoma, and Teresa Todd daughter-n-law, of Vinita, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren including Jackie, Chrystal, Victor, Jonathan, Brian, Christina, Crystal, Andrea, Richard, and 24 great-grandchildren including Crystal, Ryan, Olivia, Savanah, Brianna, Tyler, Ethan, Samuel, Abigail, Jackson, Ian, Rain, Jade, Gage, Caden, Texas, Canyon, Brody, Autumn, Randall, Daniel, Kevin, Kaydance, and Jerry.
