Helen Ruth (Casey) Bench of Temple, Texas died Tuesday, February 14, 2023. She died at age 92 of natural causes while residing at the Arbor House Memory Care facility in Mustang, OK.
Helen was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1930. She married Lee O. Bench, Jr. on November 1, 1948, and was a homemaker throughout their married life. Helen and Lee remained married for over 63 years, traveling the world together throughout Lee's military career and settling in Central Texas in 1975.
Helen was blessed with a large family, including four children: Brenda Ruth (Bill) Honeycutt, Stephen Lee (Linda) Bench, Christopher Dean (Bonnie) Bench, Paul Anthony (Jessica) Bench; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Lee O. Bench, Jr.; siblings Irene Rotramel,
Pauline Shea, Arle Casey, Eugene Casey, Charles Casey, and Kenneth Casey;
Daughter-in-law, Linda; and granddaughter, Rebecca Renee.
