Harold Reeve

June 26, 1945 — November 2, 2025

Harold "Harry" Thomas Reeve, age 80, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025.

Harry was born on June 26, 1945, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, to Albert and Eve Reeve. He married the love of his life, Mary Reeve, and together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage. In 2013, Harry and Mary moved from Colorado to Glenpool, Oklahoma, where they built a warm and welcoming home surrounded by family, faith, and community.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Reeve; his mother, Eve Reeve; and his son, Daniel Reeve.

Harry is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Reeve; daughter Dianna Hickman and her husband Paul; grandchildren Paul Jr. and wife Emma, Katana and husband Grant, Jesse-Lee, and David; great-granddaughter Rosie; brother Albert Reeve and his wife Alema; and his beloved dog, Scout.

Harry will be remembered for his warm heart, his quiet strength, and his playful sense of humor. He enjoyed his morning walks with his friend Bob from down the street and took great joy in his many walks each day with Scout. A faithful member of his church, Harry loved serving wherever he was needed-whether running the sound booth or lending a helping hand with any task, big or small.

He found great happiness in spending time with his family-watching Rosie and Scout play, joking with his grandchildren (even when they thought they were "too old" for playtime), and savoring Mary's home cooking. Whether it was her spaghetti, ribs, seashell casserole, or meatloaf, Harry never missed a chance to enjoy a good meal lovingly prepared.

To his family, Harry will always be remembered as the "tough guy" with the softest heart-always dependable, always there when you needed him. They will forever cherish the countless memories, from rebuilding his daughter's home to sharing laughter and love through every stage of life.

Harry was proud of his career accomplishments, including being trusted to install phones for President Ronald Reagan whenever the President was in Detroit-a job he took great pride in.

Mary fondly remembers meeting Harry at the restaurant where she worked in Detroit. Their first conversations about Little League baseball soon turned into something much more. She'll never forget the day Harry left her a silver dollar-or the first time she cooked for him, when he loved her spaghetti so much he ate three large helpings and could hardly move afterward.

Harry's life was one filled with love, laughter, faith, and family-a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
