Gloria Jean Whiteman age 61 passed away Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Whiteman was born September 24, 1943 in Ventura, California to James Wallace Dunaway and Dorothy Jean Thompson Dunaway. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1962. She was a self-employed florist.
Mrs. Whiteman resided in Glenpool, Oklahoma coming from California to be closer to family members. She enjoyed cake decorating, floral designing and was a Mormon church member in Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Sonora, California
Gloria Jean Whiteman was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Dunaway and brother: Tom Dunaway and sister, Shirley Dunaway.
Mrs. Whiteman is survived by her son: Todd D'Antoni of Cripple Creek, Colorado; daughter: Tammy Chandler of Sacramento, California; brothers: Chuck Hays, Richards, Texas; Marty Dunaway and his wife, Betty, Glenpool, Oklahoma; Tim Dunaway and his wife, Harriett, Modesto, California and cousins: Mike Weaver, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Loretta Little, Antioch, California and Patty Moore, Kingman, Arizona . Gloria Jean is also survived by her grandchildren: Dawn Chandler, Michael Chandler and step-granddaughter, Tonya. A funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Modesto, California on Saturday, April 23, 2005.
