Glen Lee Barrows

Mr. Glen Lee Barrows of Glenpool, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord Friday, April 11, 2003 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Mr. Barrows was born July 20, 1927 in Bixby, Oklahoma to Lee Barrows and Ethel Goldie Norton Barrows. Mr. Barrows married Ethel "Corky" Dunlap December 23, 1950 in Jenks, Oklahoma and they enjoyed 48 years of marriage until her death May 1, 1999.
Mr. Barrows was a retired farmer with a passion and love for gardening and planting flowers.
Mr. Barrows was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ethel, two sisters, four brothers and one grandchild.
Mr. Barrows is survived by his sons: Gene Allan Barrows and wife, Margaret of Glenpool, Oklahoma; David Ray Barrows and wife, Sandra of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Bill Lee Barrows and Gilda of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Michael Jay Barrows of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jeff Lynn Barrows, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Daughters: Joyce Ann Hargis of Kiefer, Oklahoma; Glenda Sue Gilbert and husband, Danny of Wichita, Kansas. Brothers: George Barrows of Haskell, Oklahoma and Junior Barrows of Haskell, Oklahoma. Sisters: Eve Bolding of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Louise Shatwell of Boynton, Oklahoma; Francis Lee of Boynton, Oklahoma;Elsie Hall of Morris, Oklahoma; Marie Gillispie of Chelsea, Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Barrows will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Services are under the direction of Daniel C. Schaudt with Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, Glenpool, Oklahoma 918 291-1700.
