Gary Coffey, 75, beloved Father, Son, Brother, and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on March 29, 2026. He entered this world on October 21, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, born to Melvin and Virginia Coffey.
Gary was a man who found joy in the simple things in life and lived it on his own terms. He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing, embracing the peace and freedom that nature provided. He had a passion for motorcycles, even racing in his younger years, and took pride in being a licensed pyrotechnician display specialist. Gary was also known for enjoying a cold Busch Light and sharing laughter with those around him.
More than anything, Gary will be remembered for his kind heart and easygoing spirit. He was the kind of man who would do anything for a friend, always ready with a smile, a joke, or a story. He treasured his daily conversations and the friendships that meant so much to him. Gary's presence brought warmth and laughter to those fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Jones and husband Phillip, and Jennifer Gartside and husband Philip; his grandchildren, Phillip C. Jones, Tyler Coffey, Bryce, and Gage Gartside; grandchildren in his heart, Karisa and Chris Carnes, and Destiny Kelly; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kingston, Jack, Nik, Haygen, Payton, Colt, Sawyer, Declan, and Adelynn. He is also survived by his brother, Gregg Coffey, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to "the #2's," Jason and Shanon, for their unwavering support, kindness, and for always being there for Gary.
Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jacki Coffey; his parents, Melvin and Virginia Coffey; his sister, Melodi Morrison; and his sister-in-law, Linda Coffey.
Gary's legacy of friendship, laughter, and love will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
