Gabriel Sanderson

Gabriel Ray Sanderson passed away on December 23, 2025 at the age of 24.

Gabriel was born on September 7, 2001, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to his parents Ray Sanderson and Amber (Marchal) Greer. From a young age, Gabriel had a special way of making everything fun. He was a truly selfless soul who always wanted others to enjoy their time with him. Even when he was hurting, you would never know it-Gabriel chose joy, laughter, and kindness for those around him.

He was known for being good at just about everything he tried. Whatever Gabriel set his mind to, he mastered-especially video games. He loved to fish, even though he wasn't very good at it.

Gabriel deeply loved his siblings and family. He shared close bonds with Sarah Bennett, Alyssa Sanderson, Jared Lytle, Emily Lytle, Adora Greer, and Caroline Greer, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.

He attended Sapulpa High School and began working at Hideaway Pizza at just 16 years old, where he worked for approximately four and a half years. Gabriel also worked at Stanley Steemer And was mentored during his time working there by his stepfather, Justin. He also spent time in New Mexico also being mentored by his father, Ray as they worked together. Both of these experiences meant a great deal to him. After returning to Oklahoma, he continued his work journey at Hideaway Pizza, then Maverick, and later at Candor Supply, where he worked as a welder and took pride in his craft.

Gabriel is survived by his father, Ray Sanderson; mother, Amber Greer; stepmother, Melida Sanderson; stepfather, Justin Greer; his siblings, Sarah Bennett, Alyssa Sanderson, Jared Lytle, Emily Lytle, Adora Greer, and Caroline Greer and many other loving relatives and a host of friends who will forever cherish his memory.
