Frances Lou Wolfe

Frances “Sebie” Lou Wolfe, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away in her home on March 27th, 2026 at the age of 97.

She was born March 22nd, 1929 to Walter and Ollie Sebring in Fort Worth, Texas. She had one younger brother, Ray Sebring, who preceded her in death in 2013.

When she was 19, she married Maston Wolfe with whom they had two children, Karen and Maston Bradley. In 1954, the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Frances earned her Bachelor’s of Education and spent the next 20 years teaching kindergarten and third grade. Her home is filled with gifts and hand written notes from the students who loved her and claimed she changed their lives for the better.

After retiring, Frances frequently played Bridge, a hobby she had for most of her life, and spent Friday nights at Ron’s Hamburgers and Chili with her friends, a tradition that she continued with her family after the end of the Covid pandemic in 2020.

She was also a devout Christian, and her unshakable faith carried both her and others through life’s greatest challenges.

She passed peacefully in her home of 54 years under the loving care of her daughter, Karen, just days after her 97th birthday. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Jeffrey) Duncan and her son Bradley (Chantel) Wolfe, as well as her four granddaughters Nora Duncan, Valarie (Seth) Spoo, and Ayla and Carys Wolfe. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to Frances’ viewing on April 9th, 2026 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, and services the following day April 10th, 2026 at 10:00 am. A reception and interment will follow if you wish to attend.
