Eric Madrid

Eric “Eagle Child Come Singing” Madrid, 42, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 18, 2026, in Tulsa. He was born on July 5, 1983, in Borger, Texas, to Eleuterio and Dora Madrid.

Eric was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to caring for his family. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and dependable provider who always made sure those he loved were cared for. Whether he was working long hours, attending his children’s school functions and sporting events, or taking care of things around the house, Eric stayed busy making life better for his family. He proudly supported Elysia in volleyball, Erik and Elias in basketball, and Evelyn in cheer. He could fix just about anything and was always on top of whatever needed to be done. Eric also had a funny side and loved to joke around, bringing laughter and smiles to those around him. Above all, he will be remembered for his caring heart, his strong work ethic, and the great smile he shared with everyone around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Blu Madrid; his children, Erik Madrid, Elias Madrid, Elysia Madrid, and Evelyn Madrid; his brother, Oscar Madrid; his niece, Keira Madrid, his mother and father-in-law, Todd and Julie Parker; his brother-in-law, Chase Parker and wife Erin; his nephew, Royce Parker; as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eleuterio and Dora Madrid, and his brother, Cesar Madrid.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 5pm to 8pm and funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11:00am, both at Schaudt Funeral Service, 5757 South Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145. Graveside service to follow at Kellyville Cemetery.
