Ellen was born on August 28, 1948 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Telfair Knight and Velma Martz.
Ellen graduated with BS degrees in Journalism and Teaching. She was an ESL teacher at the Tulsa YWCA. She also was an artist and a musician.
She is survived by 2 brothers and 4 sisters along with many family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the family's convenience.
