EDDY GLENN CHANCEY
Eddy Glenn Chancey was born March 16, 1947, in Ft. Smith Arkansas. He drew his last earthly breath and started his heavenly journey on July 6, 2017 in Tulsa, OK at Porta Caeli House from cancer. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Air Force. He retired from O'Reilly Auto Parts in 2009. After, several illnesses due to Agent Orange he was a disabled Veteran. Eddy was always proud of his country and its service men and women. When meeting a fellow military person in a store or restaurant, he always thanked them for their service.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Chancey; mother, Evelyn Leatherwood; sister, Ann Nickel; brother, Harold Leatherwood; brother, Darrell Chancey; sister- in- law, Becky Chancey,
Eddy is survived by his wife of 45 yrs. Lynn Chancey; daughter, Marcie and James Nelsen; son, Jade and Edie Chancey; grandchildren, Ari Nelsen, Daine and Tina Chancey, James Nelsen Jr., Tyson and Ashley Hennip, Samantha Hennip, Austen Chancey and Connor Chancey. Great -grandchildren, Dayton, Amberlyn, Ryleigh and Ivory. Brother, James Leatherwood; sister, Nita Wood; brother- in- law, Dan Webb.
