Dorothy Lee Brill

Dorothy Lee Prewitt Brill was born on July 2, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and passed peacefully on July 7, 2024. 

Dorothy married W. Curtis Brill on July 6, 1956, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, however, made their home in Tulsa. Dorothy was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, Int’l since 1958 and was a part of the Garden City and Berryhill congregations for many years. Dorothy loved to sew, knit and garden, however, her family was her greatest pride and joy.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Curtis W. Brill (Carol) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Larry Brill (Denise) of Mustang, Oklahoma; Cindy Dunn (Terry) of Jenks, Oklahoma; and Sheryl Rial (Woodrow) of Bristow, Oklahoma; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers: Frank Prewitt, Donny Prewitt, Rick Sturman, and Billy Sturman; her sisters: Lynda Settlemyre and Paula Scott; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, W. Curtis Brill; parents, Ray Prewitt and Dorothy B. Sturman; and her brothers, James Prewitt and Jerry Prewitt.

Visitation for Mrs. Dorothy Brill will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and funeral services will be 10:00am, Wednesday, July 10, 2024 both at Schaudt Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service Chapel, 1329 East 151st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma 74033.
