Donna Karen Moore passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the age of 75.
Donna was born on August 18, 1950, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Gerald and Lois (Tollison) Grant. She was raised in Okmulgee, where she attended Okmulgee High School before continuing her education at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT). There, she earned a degree in Accounting and began a career that would span an impressive 45 years with the institution.
Donna dedicated her life to hard work, family, and service to others. As an accountant at OSUIT, she was known for her dependability, dedication, and attention to detail. Even after a full day at work, Donna often continued serving her community by working at a local nursing home, where her caring nature and strong work ethic touched many lives.
On December 31, 1970, Donna married the love of her life, Terry Vernon Moore. Together they shared more than five decades of love, partnership, and cherished memories while raising their family in Okmulgee.
Donna never met a stranger. She loved shopping, visiting with friends and family, and spending time out and about in her community. For many years, she enjoyed selling Avon, which allowed her to connect with countless people and form lasting friendships. Whether she was stopping by to visit someone, catching up with friends, or lending a helping hand, Donna's warm personality and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Vernon Moore, and her parents, Gerald and Lois Grant.
Donna leaves behind many cherished memories with her daughter, Kari Tunley and husband Maurice; her son, Terry "Kyle" Moore; her granddaughter, MiKayla Hammon and husband Dylan; her three sisters; her brother, Dale Grant; along with many other loving relatives, treasured friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
Donna will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her strong work ethic, her friendly and outgoing spirit, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness and generosity. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
