Donald Joseph Reed, 75 of Tulsa, OK passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on February 19, 2026, following a battle with lung cancer.

Born on July 20, 1950, in Sewickley, PA, Donald was the son of the late Anthony Joseph Reed and Elva Jean (Krull) Reed. Donald graduated from Coraopolis High School, PA, and attended Kent State University, OH. An entrepreneur, business owner, and consultant, he has been enjoying retirement since 2014 in Tulsa, OK.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife Sharon, who passed on November 3, 2025, Donald is survived by his loving children, Jessica, Carla (Lukas) and Dana, his son-in-law, Thorsten Lukas, grandchildren Emily Elizabeth and Evan Marcel. A private viewing for the immediate family was held at Schaudt's Funeral Home in Tulsa, OK., on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Donald was an avid Steelers fan and loved his Beto's Pizza. Donald and Sharon ventured south to Charlotte, NC, and then Simpsonville, SC, which they both loved very much, and he enjoyed cycling the green hills of Simpsonville. After moving north for several years outside of Detroit, MI, they moved to Atlanta, GA, where he spent as much time as possible zipping around Lake Lanier on his Chaparral speed boat. Finally, a business venture brought them to Tulsa, OK, where they retired.

Don was a world traveler, and beach enthusiast. He enjoyed western movies and spending time with family and his dog Tank and extremely proud of the grandchildren. He was loyal, selfless and strong, a provider, protector, always hard-working, helpful, and kind-hearted.

Don will be forever missed, and his gladiator spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
