Dianna Lynn Carter, age 65, passed from this earth on May 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends whose lives she touched so deeply. Her passing leaves an immeasurable void, but her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Dianna was born on May 17, 1961, in Arizona, where she spent her childhood years. During her high school years, her family moved to Arkansas to help care for her grandfather. Later, she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Central High School and began building the family that would become the center of her world.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Dianna worked as a seamstress before later becoming a pilot car driver. In that role, she proudly worked alongside her husband, Paul Carter, the love of her life and devoted partner. Together, they built a life grounded in love, commitment, and family.
More than anything, Dianna loved her children, grandchildren, and the many family members and friends she held close. Holidays were especially dear to her because they brought together the people she loved most. Following Paul's passing, her family made it a priority to continue those cherished traditions, surrounding her with love and support and reminding her that she was never alone.
Dianna loved coffee, good conversation, and the simple joy of gathering with those she cared about. She was especially known for her cooking. Family members often talked her into preparing meals so they could enjoy the dishes she made. She delighted not only in cooking for others but also in teaching her family how to cook. Whether preparing a holiday feast or an everyday meal, Dianna made sure there was always plenty for everyone she loved. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and togetherness.
One of Dianna's favorite hobbies was playing video games, something she embraced later in life as a way to connect with her grandchildren. Through that simple act, she once again demonstrated her willingness to meet people where they were and share in the things that brought them joy.
Those who knew Dianna describe her as a remarkable woman who was 100 percent herself 100 percent of the time. She possessed a servant's heart, overflowing with compassion, generosity, and love. As a Christian woman, she never hesitated to help someone in need and would do just about anything for anyone. If there was one word most often used to describe Dianna, it was simply: love.
Dianna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Carter, and her two sons, Heath Pierson and Paul Carter II.
She is survived by a multitude of children, grandchildren, extended family members, and countless friends and loved ones who were blessed to know her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit, her faith, her laughter, and most of all her love will remain with us forever.
The family finds comfort in knowing that Dianna has been reunited with those who went before her and is now resting in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Her memory will continue to be a blessing and an inspiration to all whose lives she touched.
