Denise Ann Nord Slayton

Denise Ann Nord Slayton, age 48, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 25, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Denise was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 18, 1957 to Raymond Matherne and Eleanora Vedrenne King. She married Roger Slayton.
Denise moved to Tulsa from Louisiana last year to be closer to her family. Denise was a homemaker. She enjoyed socializing with her many friends since she was a €œpeople€ person. She was also an €œadventurer€ and liked to travel. Denise received great pleasure from reading her Bible.
She is survived by her parents; her husband, Roger Slayton; two brothers: Gerald Brady of Chalmette, Louisiana and Scott Smythe of Canton, Mississippi; her three daughters: Vicki Helm and Toni Nord of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Nonna Bell from Montgomery, Alabama along with three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Friday, July 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
