Dee Renshaw

June 14, 1952 — May 24, 2025

Dee Eldridge Renshaw of Tulsa, OK, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. While our hearts are aching, we find comfort in knowing he is home with his Lord and Savior. He was 72 years old.

Dee was born on June 14, 1952, in Wichita, Kansas, to Dee and Mary Ellen Renshaw (Gresham). From a young age, Dee lived a life full of passion and purpose. He graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1970. It was during his time at Classen, where he was a member of the varsity golf team, that his journey as an avid golfer began. Dee went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Political Science and continued his education earning his master's degree in Education from the University of Oklahoma.

Dee's political aspirations took a hard turn shortly after graduation when he began his banking career with Bank of Oklahoma in 1976. In 1980 his banking career continued into the Grand Lake area where he eventually served as the President of the Grove branch of Bank of Oklahoma. Dee's genuine and authentic interest in people and desire to improve his community allowed him to embark on yet another new career journey into the healthcare industry where he served for over 30 years. In the fall of 2023, Dee retired from Hillcrest Henryetta where he served as CEO for over 20 years.

Dee met and married the love of his life, Kim Renshaw in 1979. Together they built a beautiful life filled with joy and devotion while raising three wonderful daughters: Lauren, Beth, and Taylor. Dee also found immense pride in his role as Papa to his 6 grandsons and one beloved granddaughter. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he never missed a chance to support them in all their various activities.

Dee was selfless, gentle, joyful, witty, and full of faith. He was a man of God who lived his beliefs quietly but powerfully. He loved God with all his heart, and that love overflowed into the way he loved his family and friends. He enjoyed golf, reading, watching softball, and most of all, being present in the lives of his grandchildren. Whether on the sidelines of a game, the finish line of a race, in the stands of a performance, or cheering from afar, Dee was always there to offer encouragement and support as he celebrated every moment. His calm and unwavering presence, steady leadership and comforting spirit made him a source of peace and encouragement to all who knew him.

Dee is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Dee and Mary Ellen Renshaw; his brother, Bill Renshaw; and his grandson, JJ Meacham.

Left to carry on Dee's legacy are his devoted wife, Kim; his daughters Lauren Meacham and husband Mike of Tulsa, OK, Beth Renshaw of Coweta, OK, Taylor Mitzner and her husband Zak of Edmond, OK, his sister Laurie Renshaw and partner Shelly Zaikis of Eufaula, OK, his cousin Patsy Lombardi and husband Tony of Tulsa, OK, his brothers in-law, Jim Kimbrough and wife Jan of Joplin, MO, Don Kimbrough of Owasso, OK, Rob Kimbrough and wife Melanie of Miami, OK and many loving nieces and nephews. Dee is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Timmie Coleman, Tyler Coleman, Noah Meacham, Will Meacham, Maya Renshaw, Boston Mitzner and Banks Mitzner.
