Cova Armstrong, 86, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on August 29, 2026. She was born on April 16, 1940, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Ted Maney and Louise (Martin) Maney.

Cova loved the outdoors and made the most of every chance to enjoy it. She was an avid fisherwoman and boat master who cherished her time on the water at Grand Lake. She was equally at home at the gun range, where she enjoyed honing her skill and spending the day with family and friends. She was devoted to her dogs, Sadie, Sophie, and Gretchen, who were a constant source of comfort and companionship and rarely left her side.

Cova was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Louise Maney; her beloved husband of 39 years, Randy Joe Armstrong; her daughter, Terri Merrit; her son, Robbie Phillips; and her brother, Jimmy Maney.

She is survived by her daughter, Athena Suber; son-in-law Mark Suber, daughter-in-law, Denise Phillips; bonus daughter, Beth Coonce and husband Chris; grandchildren, Shawn Adkins and wife Kim, Melissa Noftsger and husband Matthew, Christina Suber, Joshua Suber, David Phillips and wife Joni, Stephanie Bennett, Andrea Phillips, Brandy Phillips and husband Josh, Megan Henley and husband Ryan; nephews, Matthew Maney and wife Alicia, Andrew Maney and wife Christy, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
