Clinton John Gibson was born on July 24, 1976, and passed away on August 31, 2026, following a motorcycle accident in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Clint is the son of LaRae Engel Gibson and the late Larry Gibson. He was a devout Christian, and his family takes comfort in knowing his place in Heaven is secured. Reunited with him in peace are his daughter, Randyll Gibson of WaKeeney, KS; his father, Larry Gibson of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandparents, Henry and Joanne Engel of Oakley, KS; his uncle, Ferman Gibson of Oakley, KS; and his cousin, Chelsey Kear of Colorado Springs, CO.
Clint worked as an electrical engineer for several companies in the Tulsa area, most recently with Maccor. His career allowed him to travel across the country, discovering new cities along the way. Outside of work, Clint loved traveling, listening to music, playing guitar, attending concerts, and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived and deeply missed by his son, Logan Gibson, and Elise Hollingshead of Broken Arrow, OK; his mother and stepfather, LaRae and Marvin Flanary of Temple, TX; his uncles, Don and Vickie Engel of Nixa, MO, and Dennis and Linda Engle of Oakley, KS; his aunts, Janet Collings of Oakley, KS, Gerrie George of Oakley, KS, Jeanice Hearting of WaKeeney, KS, Jeanita Losey of WaKeeney, KS, Tami Kear of Colorado Springs, CO, and Stefanie White of Austin, TX; many beloved cousins; and always in his heart, his best friend, Amy Gibson of WaKeeney, KS.
Services will be held in Oakley, Kansas, and will be announced at a later date.
