Clara G. Deese

Clara G. Deese, 79, of Checotah, OK, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at the Checotah Nursing Center.

Clara was born in Hillsboro, TX on June 11, 1938, a daughter of the late Willa Mae (Herring) and Alfred Williams. She enjoyed doing various arts & crafts, gardening, reading. She also loved to travel and enjoyed going to Yosemite National Park Branson, MO. She worked as a Librarian for the public library in Checotah.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas R. Deese, daughter, Glenda; son, Paul; and many siblings.

Clara is survived by a son, Steve, husband of Patricia Deese; a brother, Ted Williams; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Angela, Amber, Jennifer, & Victoria; 2 great-grandchildren, Andrew & Chloe, as well as many other loving family members.

There will be a private family service held at a later date.
