Christopher Wayne Puckett, also known affectionately as Chris, brought light into the lives of many with his warm heart and kind spirit. He passed away on May 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Born on July 4, 1984, in Tulsa, OK, Chris spent his formative years surrounded by the warmth of family and the joys of childhood. He was a member of the Beggs High School graduating class of 2002.
Chris had a zest for life that was truly infectious. His hobbies included admiring classic cars, collecting vintage signs, and rocking out to music. From a young age, he found solace in drumming - a talent he discovered after convincing a lady to sell him a drum set. Beyond his musical inclinations, Chris loved spending time with loved ones while cooking, barbecuing, and fishing.
Yet, it was not just hobbies that defined Chris; it was the people he held dear. His family meant everything to him. He leaves behind his grieving mother Karen Puckett but is reunited in eternal peace with father, Doyle Puckett. Chris's memory will be cherished by his brother Jake Puckett and wife Stacia, sister Carolyn Puckett, and stepdaughters, Maci Monroe, and Tatianna Winters. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Adrian, Brayden, Cassidy, Dalton, Samuel Jacob - young hearts filled with love and admiration for their uncle. Beyond blood ties, Chris's impact extended to his best friend Jeff Fields and countless other friends whose lives he enriched with his infectious laughter and genuine companionship.
The memory of Christopher "Chris" Puckett will be etched in our hearts forever - a man who embraced life with open arms, radiated kindness without bounds, and left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. As we gather to honor his life at Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service in Glenpool on May 15th at 11:00 AM, let us celebrate the beautiful soul that now watches over us from heavens above.
May his spirit find eternal peace in the embrace of angels as he continues to live on in our cherished memories. Rest in peace, dear Chris. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
