Christine Monica (McCoy) Houck, 63, of Inola, Oklahoma was born to Ernest C. and Elvira (Kessler) McCoy on May 23, 1963 in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. In 1981, she graduated from Fraser High School, where she was a member of the marching and symphony bands, playing the tuba. Christine also attended Dental Hygiene school and graduated in 1982. During this time, she met Jeff Houck.
Christine and Jeff, son of Gary and Rita (Johnson) Houck married on September 28, 1985 in Radcliffe, IA. They returned to Inola, OK to make their home and raise 3 children: Ryan, Megan, and Kaitlyn. Christine spent the first several years as a stay at home mom, busying herself with kids sports and supporting them in all of their endeavors. As the children grew, Christine began working at The Legend Group, where she proved to be a valuable asset as an office manager. She helped build and grow the business now know as Focus Financial. She retired after 25 years.
Christine was a woman of strong faith and a member at Fellowship Lutheran Church. She was selfless and always putting others before herself. She was known for her planning skills and making sure everyone around her was set up for success. Christine was a dedicated Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions fan.
Christine's true joy was in her family. Many years were spent together, whether it was traveling for sporting events or family camping trips. Even during her health battle, she was dedicated to spend time with her grandchildren and attend their events. She loved her grandkids fiercely and showed them strength, resiliency, and kindness.
Early on Sunday September 6, 2026 Christine passed away in the arms of her husband at Ignite Medical Resort.
Christine is survived by her husband, Jeff Houck, her daughters Megan (Jason) Muenchow and Kaitlyn (Michael) Hall, brother Mark (Beth) McCoy and sister Cindy (Don) Coleman. Others left to cherish her memory include 9 grandchildren, Aria and Jadis Baker, Joshua Houck, Kyndal, Addilyn, and Hudsyn Hall, and Alexander, Rylee, and Emma Muenchow, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Christine was preceded in death by her father Ernest McCoy, mother Elvira McCoy, father and mother-in-law Gary and Rita Houck, her son Ryan Houck, along with grandparents and great-grandparents.
