Stephen "Chet" Michael Chestain Hamilton, 58, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on May 29, 2026. He was born on November 20, 1967.

Chet was a talented musician who developed a love for playing the guitar at a young age. His passion for music remained with him throughout his life, and he took great pride in sharing that gift with others, including teaching his nephew how to play. In his younger years, he enjoyed crafting Native American-style weapons and was a gifted artist whose creativity touched many who knew him.

Family was at the center of Chet's life. He cherished the time spent with his brothers and sisters growing up, and those close family bonds continued to be an important part of his life in later years. He will be remembered for his artistic spirit, his love of music, and the many memories he shared with family and friends.

Chet is survived by his daughter, Ashley Bond and her husband, Derrek, of Norman, Oklahoma; and his beloved grandchildren, Rainah, Rayan, and Rory. He is also survived by his brothers, David "Bud" Hamilton and his wife, Kelley, and Benjamin "BJ" Hamilton; his sister, Neva "Pooh" Hamilton and her husband, Dan Cheatham; and his brother-in-law, Jason Marsh, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loretta Underwood and Leland Hamilton; his brother, Scooter Hamilton; and his sister, Lela Dawn Hamilton.

Chet's memory will live on through the music he played, the art he created, and the love he shared with his family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
