Charles Wesley Hickman

Charles W. Hickman, 90, of Claremore died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Catoosa, OK. Charles was born September 14, 1923 to A. Blake and Nellie Hickman in Union City, OK . He served his country as an aviation mechanic 1st class in the United States Navy from 1943 - 1946. Charles worked for many years as an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service. He loved lifting weights and could do eighty push-ups well into his 80's. Charles was very independent and he resided in his home until the last few days of his life. Service arrangements are currently pending. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, OK.
