Charles Fairless

Sadly on April 13, 2024, loving husband and father of four, Charles Willis Fairless, passed away at age 95 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born to Charles and Hazel Fairless in Haileyville, OK.

Charles "Chuck" served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army in Ft. Bragg, NC from 1946-1949. He married Marieta Peintner from Spearville, KS in 1953. He worked at Boeing while attending Wichita State University, graduating with a Masters in Education in 1955. Chuck and Marieta moved with their four young children to Dodge City, KS when he took a job in sales with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. The family moved to Tulsa, OK in 1968. Chuck was a history buff, avid crossword puzzler, lover of golf and world traveler. He visited 59 countries between 1972 and 2017.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marieta, of 63 years, and son, Marcus. He is survived by his daughters, Jorja, Toni and Kim, his grandchildren, Marcus, Nick, Jaime, Zach, Marieta Rose and Katie, and eight great grandchildren.

Chuck will be buried in Kansas alongside his wife, Marieta, later this year!
