My daughter was a beautiful soul who chose to leave this world way to soon, only 3 days after her 33rd birthday. To some people she is just another statistic in this epidemic of suicides caused by depression. To her family she was a beautiful person who will be missed more than words can describe. She could be loud, obnoxious, and stubborn, but she was also one of the most outgoing and caring people I have ever known. She always went out of her way to help any person or animal in need without ever expecting anything in return. She had a creative mind that could see beauty in almost any object. No matter how tattered or worn down it was she could find a way to make it into a thing of beauty. Her paintings ranged from dark to obscure to extremely wonderful. She loved Halloween and dressing up for any occasion she could. Her 4 year old nephew and 8 month old niece were the light of her life. She would laugh and play with them for hours at a time. Unfortunately they will never get to experience the wonderful person she was. I found this in her latest of many notebooks where she kept track of her many thoughts. This is how i choose to remember my daughter:
"There is something about a new notepad or sketchbook. All the unexplored pages, the stories they have to tell. The excitement they bring with their blank pages. The joy it brings just figuring how I will fill them."
That was my daughter, always looking for the next adventure. I hope, my love, that you find everything you thought you were missing in this life.
