Carolyn Elenora Watkins

Carolyn Elenora Watkins passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the age of 89.

Carolyn was born on January 31, 1937, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Lowell and Ellen (Ford) Stone. She lived a life marked by faith, devotion to family, and kindness to everyone she met.

Carolyn worked as a bank teller for many years and later in various accounting roles. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Sapulpa, where her love for the Lord guided her throughout her life.

She had a special appreciation for the simple beauties of life, especially red flowers, which always brought her joy. Carolyn treasured time spent with her family and found her greatest happiness in watching her son, grandson, grandchildren and the Meacham boys, who she adopted as her own grandchildren, grow and thrive.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Ellen Stone, and her brother Skip Stone.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her family, including her son, Steve Watkins and his wife, Susan Kay; Grandson Will Watkins and his wife, Kristin; three beloved grandchildren and her adopted grandchildren; her cousin, Louise Morrow; and many other loving relatives and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
