Carolyn Sue Weeks Snodgrass
With hearts full of both sorrow and hope, the family of Carolyn Snodgrass announces that on December 17, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was gently called home and received into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. Having finished her earthly journey, Carolyn now rests in perfect peace, rejoicing in heaven and reunited with cherished loved ones who went before her.
Carolyn was born on November 17, 1943, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, the youngest of seven children. She later made her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she attended McKinley Elementary School, Bell Junior High School, and Will Rogers High School.
Following high school, Carolyn devoted many years to working in the medical field, assisting a pediatric physician - a role that reflected her nurturing spirit and compassion for others. Her work, like her life, was marked by kindness, patience, and quiet strength.
On December 2, 1966, Carolyn married the love of her life, Thomas Gail Snodgrass. Together, they built a home grounded in love, faith, and commitment, sharing many meaningful years. They were blessed with two children, Brent Edward and Lori Gail, to whom Carolyn gave her whole heart.
Family was the center of Carolyn's life. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a deeply involved great-grandmother. She shared an extraordinary and sacred bond with her great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Nicole. From Brooklyn's earliest days, Carolyn stepped forward with a mother's heart - offering daily care, unwavering devotion, and a steady, faith-filled presence during her most formative season. Through her selfless love and gentle guidance, Carolyn gave Brooklyn a strong foundation of security, faith, and unconditional love, a gift her family trusts will continue to guide Brooklyn throughout her life.
Carolyn's warmth and gentle spirit were evident in all she did. She found joy in cooking for those she loved, drawing, bowling, playing Uno, spending time with loved ones, and lifting her voice in praise as a member of her church choir. Her faith was not only spoken, but lived - seen in her service to others and her quiet acts of love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Andrew Weeks and Lorean Elizabeth Snoddy-Weeks; her siblings Annabelle Lucille Hunter ("Jack"), Mary Annalee Ames (Robert), Charles Curtis Weeks, Dorothy Dean Hull (Wayne), Helen Louise Farwell (Paul), and Billy Richard Weeks (Wanda).
Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Gail Snodgrass; her son, Brent Edward Snodgrass; her daughter, Lori Gail Snodgrass-Baker; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Darlene Weeks.
While her family grieves her earthly absence, they rejoice in the promise of eternal life and take comfort in knowing that Carolyn now walks in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served. Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live on in the generations she so tenderly shaped.
