Carole Bluejacket

August 7, 1941 — July 31, 2025

The family of Carole Ruth Bluejacket wishes to share the news of her peaceful passing at home on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Muskogee on August 7, 1941, she made her cherished home in Okmulgee for nearly fifty years.

Carole graduated from Morris High School and went on to work as a legal secretary for many years. Her hard work and perseverance led her forward in life by earning her paralegal degree. She went on to serve the State of Oklahoma Insurance Fund with sincere dedication-known for her integrity, work ethic, and generosity.

Giving was an important part of Carole's life. Loving her country and being a very patriotic woman led her to donate to very special charities. Two that were dear to her heart were," The Wounded Warrior Project" along with "Disabled American Veterans" (DAV). Living a life thinking of helping others aligned with her core values as a Christian woman and proud American.

Her faith was the heart of her life. As a long-time member of Cornerstone Foursquare Church in Okmulgee, she devoted herself to countless ministries, including Christian disaster relief well into her 70s.

In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses and fishing; later she delighted in sharing her love of life with grandchildren at church, fun events, and front porch gatherings.

Carole was devoted to her family. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Vickie Beam and husband Tim as well as her grandchildren-Tia Shelby and husband Steve, Blue Tarpalechee and wife Mary, Logan Bluejacket, Faith Sebring and husband Matt, Madison Cáceres and husband Greg, and Madalin Spencer-and her great-grandchildren Maddux, Gunner, Hudson, Aiden, and Locv. She is also joined in heaven with her sons Jim Ed Bluejacket and Don Logan Bluejacket. Her sons that she missed so much.

Pallbearers are Maddux Shelby, Matt Sebring, Steve Shelby, Gunner Shelby, Stuart McNew, and Tim Beam.

Through both public and personal service, Carole Ruth Bluejacket lived a life of unwavering faith, steadfast kindness, and heartfelt devotion to family and community. As Matthew 25:21 says, "Well done, good and faithful servant"-a fitting tribute to one whose enduring legacy continues to inspire.
