Bruce Casavan
Bruce Casavan, 80, beloved father, son, and friend, was called to his eternal rest on July 5, 2026. He was born on April 9, 1946, in Springfield, Missouri, to George and Velma Casavan.
Bruce was a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he earned his degree as an Arkansas Razorback. His family looks forward to learning more about his college years as they continue reflecting on his life and memories.
Bruce dedicated much of his professional career to serving others as the Personnel Director for Enid State School. He was known for his professionalism, kindness, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Outside of work, Bruce embraced life with curiosity and enthusiasm. He had a deep appreciation for travel and art collecting, finding joy in discovering beautiful places and meaningful works of art. Of all the destinations he visited, New York City held a special place in his heart and remained his favorite city to explore.
Those who knew Bruce will remember his unmistakable charm and his quick wit. He had a wonderful sense of humor that often caught people off guard, leaving them smiling long after the conversation ended. One of his favorite traditions was gathering with friends for happy hour at The Parke, where laughter, friendship, and good conversation were always on the menu. His warm personality made people feel welcome, and he had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories.
Bruce's greatest legacy is the love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. He was a devoted father whose presence, guidance, and affection will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Bruce is survived by his loving son, Chris Casavan, and his adopted sister, Cindy Adkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Velma Casavan, and his beloved sister, Lynne Casavan.
Although Bruce's earthly journey has come to an end, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the lives he touched will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His kindness, humor, and love of life leave behind a legacy that will not be forgotten.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
