Brenda Long

January 31, 1955 — May 15, 2025

Brenda Kay Long, born January 31, 1955, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and raised in nearby Morris, Oklahoma, Brenda spent her life in devoted service to others, her community, and her family.

For 35 years, Brenda served with honor and dedication working for the Oklahoma City Police Department, where her compassion, strength, and unwavering sense of justice left a lasting impact on those she worked with and served.

Brenda was a woman of deep passions and simple joys. She loved the game of basketball, cheering on her beloved Oklahoma City Thunder with the same spirit she brought to every part of her life. She was also a faithful fan of the Oklahoma Sooners Women's Softball Team. Whether in her kitchen preparing meals for loved ones or under the stars at a favorite campsite, Brenda found joy in the everyday and shared it freely.

Above all, Brenda cherished her family. Her children-Oske Long, Toni Wolf, Lisa Marie Wolf, and Thompson Wolf-were the pride of her life. She poured her heart into raising, guiding, and loving them, along with her many grandchildren: Monique McBride, Mia Monterrosa, Espoke Long, Rayne Rakosky, Kash Rakosky, Kaiya Rakosky, Echo Rakosky, Naliya Castillo, TJ Castillo, Kayleen Wolf, Niara Wolf, Zane Coker, Daniel Morgan, Yahv Wolf, Donald Wolf, and Sarv Wolf. Her legacy continues in her great-grandchildren: Lailani McBride, Julissa McBride, Gio Monterrosa, Josiah Monterrosa, Ezra Monterrosa, and Isaac Monterrosa.

Brenda is also survived by her brothers Jerry Roberts, Gary Long, and Wotko Long, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless loved ones who will miss her dearly.

She now rejoins those who went before her: her beloved partner Tony Wolf, her parents Thompson and Elizabeth Roberts, her sister Mary Taylor, her brothers Thomas Roberts and Gene Roberts, and her daughters Georgina Kay Long and Bobbie Jo Walston.

Brenda was a woman of strong Christian faith, and her family takes comfort knowing she is now at peace and reunited with the ones she missed so badly.
