Billie Wayne Duncan, a devoted father, grandfather, retired United States Army veteran, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, in Claremore, Oklahoma, just days before his 76th birthday. He was born on July 7, 1950, in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, to Red and Maudie Duncan.
Bill graduated from McLain High School in Tulsa before proudly serving his country in the United States Army. His military service reflected the honor, courage, and quiet strength that remained with him throughout his life. While he served his country with pride, those who knew him best will remember him for his gentle heart, infectious humor, and unwavering love for his family.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Red Duncan, and his beloved wife, Pamela Duncan. Bill leaves behind a family who will forever treasure his love and countless memories: his mother, Maudie Duncan; his children, Angie Duncan and Cody Duncan; his grandchildren, Alexis Laurencot, Jordan Thompson, Dylan Thompson, Brooklyn Duncan, Fern Cooper, Harlee Houston, Destan Duncan, and great-grandchildren, Emersyn Fisher, and Laynie Fisher; his siblings, Bobbi Blevins and Floyd Duncan; along with many extended family members and friends who were blessed to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the ASPCA, two organizations that honor the causes Bill cared about most.
Family and friends are invited to join the Duncan family for a gathering at 3:00 p.m. at Golden Corral, 9711 East 71st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133 following services.
