Beverly Gene Hopkins Glenn, a beloved Wife, Mother, and Friend, passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 66. She peacefully departed this world at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, leaving behind cherished memories in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.


Beverly was born on September 9, 1956, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, to Lowell Gene Hopkins and Vonnee (Jackie) Hopkins. Her loving parents provided her with a nurturing upbringing and the foundation of love and support that would shape her life.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Jackie Hopkins, as well as her sister, Vickie Hopkins Williamson. Their memories will forever be treasured by those who knew them. Beverly's memory will be forever cherished by her beloved husband, Carl Glenn, and her devoted son, Davey James, and her stepson Shawn Keys. She was a pillar of love and strength in their lives, and her presence will be deeply missed. She is also survived by her brother, Ray Hopkins, and her sister, Linda Hopkins McCamant, as well as several nieces and nephews, who will carry her memory in their hearts.


In her early years, Beverly moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma, where she attended Woodrow Wilson Grade School. It was during this time that she formed lifelong friendships, creating a bond that stood the test of time.


Beverly had a deep spiritual connection and was guided by her faith. She found comfort in the love of her family and friends. She had a special affection for spending time at the lake, particularly at her family cabin in Lake Eufaula. Skiing, fishing, and enjoying the serene beauty of the water brought her great joy. She was also a dedicated caregiver and had a fondness for collecting panda bear figurines. Her beloved German Shepherd dog, "Star," held a special place in her heart along with fast cars, motorcycles, and the thrill of speed were among a few of her passions.


She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her son, Davey, and her husband, Carl. Her love extended beyond to Carl's family as well, she loved each of them as her own. Beverly's loyalty and willingness to drop everything to help others made her someone people turned to in their time of need. She lived life fearlessly, embracing each moment with gusto.


Beverly's grade school friends, Carla, Carrie, Vicki, and Kathy held a special place in her heart. They formed a close-knit group known as the Wilson hoods, and their friendship endured throughout the years.


To honor and celebrate the life of Beverly, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Second Baptist Church, located at 1003 N. Alabama, Okmulgee, Oklahoma. The service will be officiated by Pastor Kevin Jones, who will help guide family and friends through the process of healing and remembrance. The arrangements to commemorate Beverly's life have been entrusted to Schaudt Okmulgee Funeral Service and Cremation Care Center.
