Betty Jane Warren

Betty Jane Warren, 90, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Betty was born on October 2, 1935, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to John Calvin Patton and Ora Freda (Friend) Patton. She grew up on a farm, but she always knew her heart longed for a life beyond the countryside. She attended Oklahoma State University, where she met her husband, Robert Franklin Warren. Robert worked for American Airlines, and together they enjoyed traveling and creating wonderful memories until his passing.

Betty was a devoted homemaker who took immense pride in creating a beautiful home. She had a remarkable eye for decorating and a special gift for making every room feel warm, elegant, and welcoming. Her home and yard were always immaculate, reflecting the care and love she poured into everything she did. She was organized, an exceptional planner, and happiest when she was busy.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Betty was a dedicated member of her Baptist church. Her faith guided her life and shaped the kindness, grace, and compassion she showed to others. She loved traveling and was especially fond of Hawaii, while also cherishing trips to London and Paris.

Betty will be remembered for her strength, determination, and loving heart. She was kind, gracious, and easy to be around, with a wonderful sense of humor. She was sweet with just a little spice, and though she could be strong-willed, she always led with compassion and deep love for her family and friends.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother to her son, Michael Robert Warren, and her daughter, Lea Ann Blackwell. She was a proud grandmother to Brittany Miller (Harley) and Jason Blackwell (Jamie), and an adoring great-grandmother to Josephine Miller and Adeline Miller. She is also survived by her brother, William A. Patton, and his sons, Jason Patton and John Patton.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Robert Franklin Warren and William Allen Best.

Betty's life was one of faith, love, beauty, and devotion to those she cherished. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and countless treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
